Episode Overview

In a tranquil Californian coastal town, the discovery of dismembered body parts along the shore sends shockwaves through the community. The police uncover a chilling reality: a predator is abducting, murdering, and dismembering female college students. Unbeknownst to them, the murderer is among them, mingling at their favorite bar. They view the imposing 6'9" Edmund Kemper as a friendly giant, unaware of his dark past—having killed his grandparents as a teenager and manipulated psychiatrists into releasing him after just five years. As he socializes with law enforcement, he indulges in his grotesque desires, ultimately taking the lives of six young women before turning on his own mother and her friend. Was his violent nature the result of a troubled upbringing and a toxic relationship with his mother, or was the Co-ed Butcher simply born to kill?
