After her parents split up, Darby Carter found it tough to form meaningful connections during her teenage years and later as a student at NYU. Everything changes when she meets Augie Jeong at a karaoke party. Following a memorable night together, Darby spends the next few days eagerly anticipating Augie's follow-up text asking, "What are you doing?" Before she knows it, she’s settled into a warm and loving relationship with him.
