The Kennedys (2011)

Episode Overview

The Kennedys unite in their efforts to elect Jack as President, but their troubled history reveals a more profound conflict. “There's a lot of talk about the curse that seems to haunt the Kennedy family through the generations, and in some ways, that's accurate,” Tom Wilkinson explains. “If you view it through the lens of Greek tragedy, Joe Kennedy emerges as a quintessential patriarch. His perspective was intense—centered on ambition, wealth, and family. It’s striking in its starkness, yet almost everything else fell by the wayside.”
